I am a vegan videographer more than anything else. Since going vegan around 2010 I have learned so many amazing things about this utmost admirable lifestyle. In 2017 I began learning many frightening things about the effect the Standard American Diet is having on both our culture’s health and the environment. Since then I’ve been very focused on where I spend my time, resources, energy, and even money. I have been working wholeheartedly on becoming a content developer exclusively for vegan business and this is now were I am exclusively. Read more...
I’m the Vegan Activist Training Coordinator for Peace Advocacy Network. We have created a free, online certification program for vegan activists.
I became vegan in 2014 initially to see how it could improve my health. After attending Save vigils in my home state in NC, I became involved in many forms of vegan activism, including setting up a program in my previous workplace. I also volunteer and support animal sanctuaries, including Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge and Ziggy’s Refuge Farm Sanctuary.
I also runs a Shao-Lin Kung Fu school in NC. Kung Fu was what inspired me to become vegan, as Kung Fu’s philosophy is to do the least harm possible. Read more...

I am the author of one of the very first vegan parenting books, Compassionate Souls — Raising the Next Generation to Change the World (C 2000.) My becoming vegan in 1991 was in direct response to touring pharmaceutical plants, animal health facilities, and industrial farms as part of my duties working as a microbiologist for a global pharmaceutical company.
I write, and speak nationally on veganism, provide cooking demonstrations and nutrition education and also speak on variety of health-related topics — including why vegans should be informed on and care about gluten.
A good introduction to my work is my presentation at the Conscious Eating Conference, “Under Pressure — Social Justice Progress Amidst Societal Group Coercion” which can be watched at:
