I originally went vegan for Lent on March 1, 2017, and I've never looked back.

Little me seemingly always wanted to follow his conscience about not harming animals. One day I didn’t let others stop me anymore.

I’d wanted to go vegan for a long time for ethical reasons, but it always felt close to impossible while travelling non-stop – I've always worked in travel and tourism – moving on every couple of days in different locations and countries. Then I had a bit of a health scare, and that gave me the push I needed. I went vegan overnight – no animal products, no processed food, no sugar – and never looked back. What started for health reasons now lines up with everything I’ve always believed in. Sometimes bad things lead to good outcomes.
