When I was a kid, my older sister gave up meat in response to the movie "Chicken Run". This inspired my parents to look into the ethics of their consumption habits. At around 8 years old, my mom read me a passage from John Robbins' "Diet for a New America," and I was moved to go vegetarian.

I went on to take inspiration from documentaries and videos like "Meet Your Meat." The book "We Are All Completely Besides Ourselves" was also a big inspiration for me.

At 15, I went vegan after learning more about ethical concerns associated with dairy, eggs, and other forms of animal exploitation.

Ever since, I've been committed to continuously learning and evolving to be more mindful about the impact of my daily choices, and finding ways to help others do the same.
