I came out of the womb a radical feminist, but it wasn't until my late twenties that I thought to consider the injustices inflicted upon non-human animals. After reading The Food Revolution by John Robbins, I immediately went vegetarian. About a year later during a volunteer stay at Farm Sanctuary, I went fully vegan.

In 2026 I launched a vegan humor publication called Laughs Not Slaughs. “Slaughs” isn't a real word but it rhymes with laughs – and laughter beats slaughter. I also write FECK, yes!, a Substack exploring pleasure, consent, and freedom – for every body.

I am often full of beans.
