I went vegan after being deeply inspired by the health reform teachings of Ellen G. White. Her writings opened my eyes to the connection between diet, health, and spirituality. I came to understand that what we eat doesn’t just affect our bodies—it shapes our thoughts, our emotions, and even our ability to discern spiritual truths.

Ellen White warned that meat eating clouds the mind, inflames the lower passions, and leads to disease. She wrote that many animals are diseased, and that consuming their flesh can transmit cancer, tuberculosis, and other conditions. Her words made me realize that eating meat wasn’t just a health risk—it was a moral and spiritual danger.

As I adopted a plant-based diet, I experienced clearer thinking, better energy, and a deeper sense of peace. I also noticed that my desire for simpler, more natural things in life increased. I felt more connected to God’s original plan for human health—the diet given in Eden.

Going vegan, to me, isn’t just a lifestyle choice—it’s a part of my faith. It’s about honoring the body as a temple, caring for creation, and cultivating purity in both thought and action. I believe that by following God’s health laws, as outlined by Ellen White, we prepare ourselves not only for better life now—but also for greater spiritual clarity and readiness for the life to come.
