Dr. Garth Davis has been practicing medical and surgical weight management for many years. Dr. Davis is a plant based physician that is actively involved in educating and promoting a whole food, plant-based diet. He has appeared in various documentaries (e.g. What the Health, TLC show Big Medicine which lasted for two seasons with 22 episodes), speaks at festivals and other events, is the author of “Proteinaholic” and teaches that food is medicine.

Dr. Davis has been named as Texas Monthly Super Doc multiple times, Americas Top Surgeons, Houston Fitness Top Bariatric Surgeons, Houston Top Docs. In college he was awarded most outstanding student and in medical school finished top of his class. Dr. Garth Davis was also awarded most outstanding surgical student and in residency awarded administrative chief resident.
