Jennifer Michaels is a long-time vegan and therapist. Her private practice is an extension of her holistic therapy model—where emotional healing, physical well-being, and spiritual alignment are treated as deeply interconnected. Through her work at The Art of Love Counseling, she integrates vegan living into a broader framework of mind-body-spirit wellness, supporting clients in aligning their daily choices with their inner values. Rooted in compassion and conscious living, her approach to veganism goes beyond diet. It becomes a pathway for healing, clarity, and reconnection—honoring the body, the Earth, and all living beings. Clients are supported in exploring plant-based living as part of a larger process of transformation, whether they are navigating health concerns, emotional imbalances, or a deeper spiritual awakening. Within this space, vegan lifestyle coaching is offered as a gentle, personalized process—meeting individuals where they are and guiding them toward sustainable, aligned change. Sessions are intuitive, non-judgmental, and integrated with her broader therapeutic work, allowing shifts in lifestyle to unfold naturally alongside emotional and spiritual growth. Read more...

I am the author of one of the very first vegan parenting books, Compassionate Souls — Raising the Next Generation to Change the World (C 2000.) My becoming vegan in 1991 was in direct response to touring pharmaceutical plants, animal health facilities, and industrial farms as part of my duties working as a microbiologist for a global pharmaceutical company. I write, and speak nationally on veganism, provide cooking demonstrations and nutrition education and also speak on variety of health-related topics — including why vegans should be informed on and care about gluten. A good introduction to my work is my presentation at the Conscious Eating Conference, “Under Pressure — Social Justice Progress Amidst Societal Group Coercion” which can be watched at: http://joannfarb.weebly.com/video.html You can read my articles, see all my videos or reach me via my contact form at www.JoAnnFarb.com Read more...
