Dr. Faraz Harsini is a dedicated vegan educator and biomedical scientist. As the founder and CEO of Allied Scholars for Animal Protection (ASAP), he is leading the effort to build a comprehensive and sustainable infrastructure for animal advocacy in universities. With a BSc in chemical engineering, a focus on environmental research, biofuel production, and nanobiotechnology, and a PhD in Cell Physiology and Molecular Biophysics, Dr. Harsini brings a wealth of scientific knowledge to his advocacy efforts. Despite a postdoctoral offer from MIT, he chose to work in biopharmaceutical companies, where he led drug development and discovery for various diseases.
