VeganLinked has the potential to solve various problems by increasing accessibility to other liked minded people, places, products, information, events. Professionals are individuals like advocates, freelancers, sole proprietors, or vegans with any skills they would like to share.
Organizations are typically groups of people focused on advocacy, health, and the environment.
Places & Food is a location or location based and ranges from retreats, wellness/fitness/community centers, clothing stores, to vegan restaurants, food trucks, farmers markets, grocery stores, human and animal food, etc.
Shop & Learn is more about online educational programs and material like a getting started guides, leaflets or programs “Organizations” or “Professionals” may provide and/or products a “Place” or “Professional” may sell online like clothing, jewelry, hygiene, etc.
Events range from immersions to conferences and expos, to popups and festivals, workshops, and even vigils.
Users may add listings under any of these. And they may link these listings to each other. For example, the user Geoff Palmer is a “Professional” listing as a bodybuilder who also has supplements for sell under “Shop & Learn” and holds a vegan bodybuilding competition that is an “Event”. When you visit any of his listings you will find his other listings referenced and accessible from each of those listings. And the author of those listings appears and is linked at the bottom of those listings. In this case VeganLinked is the author because I reached out to Geoff about videographing interviews for VeganLinked at his upcoming event and offered to make these listing for him to demonstrate how this works. Just like “neofilm” is linked to this listing since which is my video business.
