Details
Wilmington is getting a vegfest and we are super excited! This indoor event will take place on April 14, 2018 at the Coastline Conference Center.
Vendors and the community are ready for this to happen. Keep checking back for updated details about vendors, speakers, and food!!
We already have Cam F. Awesome and Sid Garza Hillman on board as speakers.

Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge provides lifelong care to rescued farm animals, educates people about the realities of animal agriculture, and promotes veganism by offering knowledge, support, and community.
Rescue
The Refuge is a sanctuary for rescued chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, sheep, goats, and cows who come from lives of abuse, neglect and abandonment. These animals are provided with peace and protection on 45 acres of pasture and woods where they are provided with top notch, life-long care. As the Refuge grows we will expand to provide homes for rescued pigs.
Education
Animals living on farms suffer from intense confinement, physical mutilations and denial of their most basic natural desires. Routine practices in these facilities equate to animal cruelty that would be illegal if done to dogs or cats. The Refuge is working to educate the general public about these cruel practices through providing innovative literature, guided sanctuary tours, and other creative educational experiences.

Our chocolates are made from scratch using the finest quality organic cocoa beans on the planet. Bars range from 80% to 92% cocoa and are naturally sweetened with super-fruits like mangosteen, raspberry, and lucama. The inclusion bars are made fresh with dried fruits and nuts.
